We have now completed filming our graduate film! Overall, it went very well, despite being our first time working all together. We all performed are jobs to the best of our ability and tried our greatest even in high stress situations when we were running out of time! The footage that we captured was very good and will hopefully create a captivating film when it is all put together. This shoot certainly pushed me to my limits and I learnt a whole lot from it. There is no better learning than experience in my view so I value this greatly!
I enjoyed using the Sony PWX FS7 this is my favourite camera that the university have trained myself on and I am very comfortable with it, especially now where I've put all my training into practice. I have learnt new skills that I can use in the future and of course transfer onto different cameras and productions. I also enjoyed using the AS7iii with the Ronin Gimbal system, I had previously only used it a handful on times so I was apprehensive going into it, but I love to get stuck in and learn and figure out how it works and what the best setting are! I now love using this setup and really enjoyed using it on set, it worked really well and I found it very satisfying creating the smooth shots.
